Breaking The Narcissist’s Grip
Because It's Time To Reclaim Your Life From Takers
Too often we give and give—while others take and take—until there’s nothing left of us. We bend our boundaries to keep the peace, silence our needs to avoid conflict, and convince ourselves this is what love looks like. All the while, the life God intended for us slips further away.
Breaking the Narcissist’s Grip is your roadmap to say “no” without guilt, stand firm against manipulators, and reclaim your peace, purpose and identity. With biblical truth and practical strategies, you’ll finally break free from the control of takers and step boldly into the life of peace, purpose, and freedom God has for you.
“Breaking the Narcissist’s Grip isn’t just encouragement—it’s a lifeline. Inside, you’ll find biblical wisdom and practical strategies to reclaim the life God created for you. Her guidance helped me process the pain, heal old wounds, and rebuild my life on God’s truth, not someone else’s manipulation. She knows the confusion that comes when manipulation is disguised as love, especially in the Christian community where forgiveness is often misapplied as tolerance for abuse. If you’ve ever wondered if you’re allowed to walk away from dysfunction and still honor God, this book is your answer.”
Toxic people don’t just take your time and energy—they steal your peace, your clarity, and your confidence in God’s truth.
In Breaking the Narcissist’s Grip, biblical relationship expert and seasoned author Kris Reece gives you a step-by-step, biblical roadmap to set guilt-free boundaries, stop getting triggered, and reclaim your life from takers.

“I’ve read a lot of books on toxic relationships, but this one hit different. It’s like Kris gets it – I mean really gets it. It’s not just advice; it’s like she’s been in my shoes and knows exactly how it feels.. I’m walking away from this with more peace and trust in God than I’ve had in years.”

About the Author
Kris Reece is passionate about helping people break free from toxic relationships, reclaim their life from takers, and walk in the fullness of all that God created them to be.
Her own journey wasn’t easy. Once caught in cycles of manipulation, striving to be “enough,” and always over-explaining, Kris knows firsthand the heartache of giving your all to people who only take. That personal experience sparked a deep desire to help others find the clarity, courage, and biblical truth they need to heal and leave behind the dysfunctional expectations of others.
Kris’s career began in the fitness industry, helping clients transform their bodies—but after years of chasing six-packs and perky glutes, she realized the strongest transformations don’t happen at the gym… they happen in the heart. That revelation launched her into a whole new calling of coaching, biblical counseling, and teaching.
Today, Kris spends her days helping others learn the tools, truths, and strategies to set boundaries that stick, heal from emotional wounds, and walk boldly in God’s purpose for their lives.
When she’s not guiding others to freedom and purpose, you’ll find Kris cycling down any open road she can discover, volunteering with animal rescues, snuggling her precious new grandson, or happily lost in another interior design project.
